Home & Garden Expo: Last days of summer

With the end of summer upon us, there is just enough nice days left in the year for us to spend some time down by the waters edge, and this simple set up makes that such a perfect way to spend the day with my wife.

Home & Garden Expo: Dutchie

When we first landed at the Home & Garden Expo, this was one of the first displays I found my self being dragged along to. She was still setting up her vendors, but the house was set up and ready to explore, and my wife could not wait to do so.  We use a lot of Dutchie furniture around our home and are definitely fans of her work, and so we were excited by what she had to offer.

We were not disappointed!!

'But if you were so excited why didn't you blog it first' I hear you all crying, simply..we couldn't come up with an idea that would do it justice. We could have just taken a bunch of pictures at the event of her set up and called it a day, but we felt this wonderful house deserved more of a personal touch.

'But its FALL!!!' I know, you don't need to remind me, the thousands of other fall pictures going around have firmly reminded us all that it is indeed fall. But we wanted to do something a little different, so here it is.

Home & Garden Expo: Sun Room

Even as a married couple, sometimes you find you need your own little space to go and relax, and so with that in mind as we walked around the 9  Home & Garden expo, my wife Lemon was picking up a lot of beautiful, shabby pieces to fill her little sunny corner.

The only problem now, is that I keep telling her I am going to take over her space and use it for naps..she isn't very impressed with this. Maybe I can find a way to convince her I need a new man cave (so far I think its a losing battle)

Home & Garden Expo: Tiny Houses

So this week was the start of the 7th annual home & Garden expo, and my wife and I were privileged enough to be given the opportunity to blog the event. So over the next few days there will be a series of posts documenting our finds there, and some of the awesome things on offer. I say some, because unfortunately there were so many we could not afford to buy them all.

So lately my wife Lemon has been obsessed with a TV show called Tiny House Nation, so when she saw this little house she was smitten and knew she had to have it, I think her exact words were to the tune of 'Yup, gotta have that!'
